Ladies & Gentlemen
The Fiddler's Elbow is a music lover's paradise
playing host to every type of music imaginable.
Whether its Indie - Rock - Punk - Metal - Electro -
Blues - Folk - Acoustic - Jazz - or even classical,
you can find it here nearly every day of the week.
We encourage all musicians from far and wide. Whether you are a new young talent or a seasoned, well established band, you are welcome at The Fiddler's Elbow. If music is live, it’s got to be good
(Well, most of the time!).
A full in-house PA and brilliant sound engineer provide a quality of sound most would be envy of.
Home to some truly spectacular bands, it also hosts touring groups from across the UK and the rest of the world.
But…this sort of sums up most venues in London, so what really sets The Fiddlers Elbow apart from every other
venues in the capital?
It’s the ATTITUDE, FRIENDLINESS and PROFESSIONALISM of its staff.
The Fiddler's offers the kind of friendly atmosphere rarely found among the city’s mid-sized music venues
(what there is left of them!)
A vast amount of experience and a genuine love for music is portrayed through the welcoming owners,
promoters and bar staff.
Don’t just take our word for it, speak to anyone that’s played here!
We try to accommodate all that come to The Fiddlers in whatever guise.
Being only 3 mins walk from Camden Market, it’s in the heart of the music capital of the world.
This classic 150 capacity, no-frills décor venue is steeped in musical history. Internally there's a mix of
scattered wooden tables and leather Chesterfield sofas, with an upright piano to top off the traditional
English pub feel. A large standing area in front of a good sized stage encourages an intimate interaction
with those performing.
In addition to the main bar area, there's a small bar away from the main music area that gives people a
chance to chat and ‘get away from it all’. This leads to a small outside smoking area.
Low entry prices combined with a late bar (1am), with probably the cheapest drinks in the area also help to
make it an attractive night out.
So, if you want to play or become a promoter or hire out the venue,
or even just discuss ideas about events then contact us.
We look forward to seeing or hearing from you soon!
Built in circa 1845, The Fiddler’s Elbow, is a grade II listed building formally known as The Old Mother Shipton.
It stands on a prominent corner site which turns very effectively by the use of a drum forming the upper floors.
Despite some internal alteration it remains a good example of an early Victorian public house
